She was predeceased by: her parents, Myla Haanen and Henry Haanen; her sisters, Linda Vogan (Len) and Sheryl Haanen; and her sister-in-law Debbie Haanen.

She is survived by: her brothers, Lyle Haanen and Dale Haanen (Diane); and her children, Lee Haanen (Courtney), Darcey Haanen (Kalee) and Kayla Haanen (Brandon). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Saskatchewan, an organization that was close to Carol's heart.
