He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Petkau; his parents, Abe and Olga; his stepmother Mabel; and his brother Glen (Marsha).

He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Petkau-Wise (Jason Wise) of Warwickshire; and his siblings, Maurice (Shirley), Todd (Carolyn), David (Sandi) and Sharon (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
