He was predeceased by: his sisters, Faith, Gail (Johnson) and Marjorie (Leckett); his brothers-in-law, Ron Johnson and Vic Leckett; his son-in-law Barry Johnson; his grandsons, Chad Johnson and Sonny LaFreniere; and his great great grandchild Louisa Trachs.
He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Carter; his children, Sherri Johnson, Garth Carter (Eunice), Lance Carter (Carol) and Kendra Antunes (Fred); and his siblings, Gloria Anderson (John) and Bruce Carter (Ruth). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM and on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at the Gladstone Cemetery.
