We announce the death of Charlotte Gillatt of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 97. Charlotte will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Charlotte’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Roy and Anna Boutilier; husband: Wesley Gillatt; children: David Gillatt, Sandy (Dave) Heidel, Gerry (Wanda) Gillatt, Cathy Gillatt, and Susan (Roy) Frenzel; grandchildren: Steven Heidel, Krista Heidel, Kendra (Tyler) Phaneuf, and Justin Gillatt; great-grandchildren: Logan Phaneuf and Lucas Phaneuf; sisters: Anna Louise Billings, Mary Ellen Boutilier, and Ida Gillatt; brothers: David Boutilier and Leaman Boutilier; sisters-in-law: Joan Boutilier; brothers-in-law: Charlie Billings, William Gillatt, and Clifton Gillatt; nieces: Evelyn (Jack) Dart, Donna Boutilier, and Jean Kroeger; nephew: Roy (Kelly) Boutilier, Mel (Ann) Billings, and their families, and Glenda; great-nieces and great-nephews: Garth, Kristen, Trevor, Kim, and their families; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maymont Central School.
