He was predeceased by: his parents, David and Elizabeth; and his brothers, Norman and Dan. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Gitzel; his children, Brenda Gitzel, Brad Gitzel and Tim Gitzel (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Ty and Bailey; his siblings, Irene Gardiner, Carol Lindskoog (Brian) and Stan Gitzel (Joan); and his sisters-in-law, Naomi Gitzel and Norma Gitzel.
