He was predeceased by: his parents, Georges Gareau and Madeleine Gareau. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Gwen Gareau (Guillaume Girouard) of Oakville and Shannon Rooke (Ramey) of Kelowna; his grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Chase and Evan; his children, Ryan Gareau of Kelowna, Amelia and Finnian; and his siblings, Emilienne (Ron), Marcel (Deirdre), Aline, Simone (Leo), Irene, Georgette (Arlen), Gaston (Shannon), Laurent (Shelley) and Jocelyne (Grant).
