Corinne Sturby Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Corinne Sturby (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away at the age of 77, on March 11, 2025. As Corinne departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Corinne may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Corinne leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hryciuk and Pearl Hryciuk; and her brother-in-law Ronald Leschyshyn. She is survived by: her husband Gene; her children, Chris (Isabelle) and Daniel Sturby; her grandchildren, Claire and Patrick Sturby; her sister Donna Leschyshyn; and her friend W. P. Bate. She is also survived by her husband of 58 years, her best friend and love of her life.

A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Ukrainian Orthodox Church (2616 Louise St, Saskatoon, SK S7J0P3).
