He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Scotty" MacLachlan and Kay MacLachlan; his in-laws, Wally and Jean Pytlowany; his sister Leslie; and his nephew Cameron.
He is survived by: his wife Tracy Pytlowany; his sons, Leland (Sarah Archer) and Rowan; his grandchildren, Hugo and Lucy; his siblings, Barb (Sam) and Jim; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Swayze and Karen Pytlowany (Ray Unger). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Westminster United Church (505 10th St E, Saskatoon, SK S7N0E3). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cosmo Senior's Centre (614 11th St E, Saskatoon, SK S7N0G3).
