He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Parnetta and Tillie Parnetta; his brothers, Orest and Walter; and his in-laws, Walter and Anne Boyko.

He is survived by: his wife Albena; his children, Nathania (Casim) and Nicholas (Ashley); his granddaughter Elise (Nicholas); his close friend Wookie; his pet Wookie; and his sister Iris. He is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, and even more nieces and nephews.
