He was predeceased by: his parents, David Petrie and Mary "Dolly" Petrie; and his siblings, James "Jim", William "Bill", Robert "Bud" and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Morgan; his children, Garry (Eleanore), Karen Coley (Dave) and Colleen Gowda (Greg); and his sister Marie Engdahl (Ralph). He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in David's honor to Saskatoon Cancer Centre (Designation through the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan) or to a charity of your choice.
