With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Demoley Nateweyes in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2026 at the age of 58. She was predeceased by: her father Phillip; her stepmother Kathy McKay; her parents-in-law, Norman and Marie Nateweyes; her siblings, Archie, Peter, Donna, Hilda and Doreen; her siblings' children, Zach, Pascal, Giselle, Cailin and Jaiden; her grandparents, Raphael, Louie and Mary Ann Morin; her in-laws, Emma Dorion, Hector Morin Sr., Delbert Bird and Roland N.; her grandchildren, Nidanis Chansa and Devin Nateweyes; her aunts, Caroline (Luke Dumas), Josette (John Louie Morin), Harriette (Henry McCallum), Genevieve, Helena, Susan (Gabe Morin), Emily (Cyril Daniels), Miriam (Sam Chartier) and Bertha Morin; and her uncle Roy Morin.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis J. Nateweyes; her children, Tasia (Andrew), Dena (Jake), Kayla, Marilyn, Dennysky, Alana (Jarrett) and Kacheena (Drayden); her grandchildren, Devaughn, Draco, Daphne, Delilah, Dexter, Dillon, Charlize, Darius, Delaney, Darren Jr., Emjay, Daenerys, Dacia, Kayson, Davian and Dayvon; her siblings, Gordon (Kathleen), Edward, Conrad (Maryrose), Wanda, Phyllis, Andrew (Pamela), Shona, Gertrude (Lloyd), Gloria, Sheryl (Lambert), Jesse (Shannon), Frank (Kateri), Randy (Stephanie) and Rose (Phillip Jr.); her in-laws, Henriette, Harvey (Marilyn), Ramona, Gloria (Tim), Dean (Lisa), Gary (Laura), Kathy (Burt), Mike, Flora (Paul), Bonnie (Ryan) and Brenda Montgrand; her godchildren, Jerrod B., Louis B., Aleron Ray and Kelton N.; and her friend Sandy Bay. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, aunties and uncles, many relatives.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the River Park Funeral Home (301 River St W, Prince Albert, SK S6V 2Z3). A wake was held on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 and on Wednesday, February 18th 2026 at the Gary Morin Memorial Building, in Sandy Bay. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Catholic Church.
