Denis Joseph Briand Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Joseph Briand (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francois Briand and Cecile Briand; his siblings, Rose, Frank, Armand and Lucille Briand; his parents-in-law, Alcide and Rose-Alma Auger; and his siblings-in-law, Marcel Bourlon, Emile, Bernadette Gauthier, Denis Auger and Allan Broley.

He is survived by: his uncle Pete; his wife Rose-Marie (Auger); his daughter Melodie (Mike Fliegel); and his siblings-in-law, Henriette Bourlon, Claude, Trudy Auger, Irene Auger and Claire Broley. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Donations in Denis's memory may be made to St. Paul's Hospital Foundation Saskatoon, Palliative Care Unit, in appreciation for the care he received.
