She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Mitchell; her parents-in-law, Rene Berger and Hazel Berger; and her siblings-in-law, Dan Rider, Al Reid and Gail Mitchell.

She is survived by: her husband Stephen Daniel Berger of Grandora, SK; her children, Darren Berger (Tammy), Shelly Bazowski (Dean), Leanne Adams (Guy), Jason Berger (Sandi), Travis Berger, Jarvis Berger (Emma), Dallas Berger, Haitti Berger, Brittney Berger and Raylene Berger; her grandchildren, Jasmine, Savannah, Zane, Colby, Bentley, Willough, Cooper and Elianna; her father James Mitchell (Marg); her siblings, Barb Wright (Frank), Robert Mitchell (Rita), Don Mitchell (Marlene) and Gord Mitchell (Cheri); and her sisters-in-law, Celeste Rider (Lyle) and Leila Elder. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donation in Diana's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.
