Donald Findlay Acton Obituary

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Samuel (Anne) and Beth (Wilf); and his siblings-in-law, Millie, Bill and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Lillian; his children, Kevin, Heather, Hannah, Luke (Madison) and Cheryl Steponchev (Richard); his siblings, Duncan, Elinor, Doris, Richard (Marjory) and Clifford (Enid); and his caregivers, Niki, Dr. N. Petti, Dr. M. Deutscher, Dr. M. Bosch, Dr. K. Anderson, Anne Gutiw and Donna Langley. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces and nephews and additional extended family.
Don was elected a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Soil Science in 1992 for his outstanding contribution to Soil Science and the wise use and conservation of Canada's land resources.
