He is survived by: his wife Merle Jean; his children, Kim Johnson (Gary) of Cambridge, Ont, Mark Lucas (Lise) of Saskatoon, SK., Corinne Sembalerus (Wayne) of Saskatoon, SK. and Jennifer Lucas of Vancouver, BC; and his siblings, Robert Lucas (Liz) of Saskatoon, SK. and Noreen Lucas of Saskatoon, SK.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Red Cross Ukrainian Relief.
