He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sister Bernadine; his siblings' children, Dan (Amber), Hannah, Chase, Brooke-Lynn, Mallory, Max, Remi, Dakota (Jasmine) and Joel; his sister Laureen; his siblings' children, Brian, Jeremy and Kara; his sister Barbara (Ray); his sister-in-law Shelley (Kent); his nephew Brett (Amber); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaydyn and Alice; his nephew Garrett (Stephanie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kenzie and Kya; his niece Erin (Mark); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Farrah and Felix; his niece Megan; his nephew Vaughan; his great-niece Payton Mellquist (Verdie Mellquist); Capri.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (210 Wess Rd, Saskatoon, SK S7V0S4). Since retiring, Don, Debra and Miki (their dog) have spent winters in Puerto Vallarta, until last winter and the year of Covid.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SPCA Saskatoon and the Saskatoon Cancer Center.
