She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Paul Joseph and Jane Syed Shah; and her husband Desmond. She is survived by: her daughter Janine Classen (Brian); her granddaughters, Sarah, Leah and Hannah; her son Nicholas (Bernadette); her grandchildren, Simon and Camille Bradley (Marquis); Grace and Zion.
