She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Burns and Cissie Burns; her brother Hughie; her grandson Mark Wilkinson; and her friends, Shirley Christian, Agness Olson, Inez Early, Gertie Blouin, Audrey Lloyd and Marg Corlette.

She is survived by: her son Brian (Christine); her grandson Damian (Miriam); her daughter Brenda Kardash (Don); her grandchildren, Maygen (Tyler Dunn) and S. J. (Nicole Romanoff); and her brother Ossie Burns (Maureen).
