He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Caldwell and Mildred Caldwell (Maul). He is survived by: his wife Sarah Caldwell (Chapman) of Saskatoon, SK; his children, Anna Meikle (James) and Christopher Caldwell; his sister Elaine Lokai (Larry); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Gavin and Liam Meikle.
