With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edith Thompson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Edith had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Edith may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Harvey and Violet Harvey; her boyfriend Charles Keith Thompson; her sisters, Beryl Smith and Vivian Patrick; and her brothers-in-law, Gerald Smith and Bill Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Forssman (Godfrey), Lizabeth Campbell (Rory) and Chuck Thompson (Sheralee). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Anglican Church (607 Dufferin Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7N1C4).
In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to Wanuskewin Heritage Park or to a charity of choice.
