It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Chris Moen (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), who passed away on July 16, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon (Howes); his parents, Peter Moen and Margit Moen; and his siblings, Ethel, Carl, Harald, Mina, Arnold and Hilda.
He is survived by: his children, Melba Wiens (Larry), Edward Moen (Tatyana), Melody Yuzik (Ryan) and Koni Cherry; and his brother Ivar Moen (Mildred). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Edward was diagnosed with dementia/Alzheimer's which forced him to retire from farming at the age of 79.
