He was predeceased by: his wife Viola; his daughter Yvonne; his parents, Gottlieb and Karolina; and his brothers, Albert, Gottlieb and Wilhem.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicol (Trent); his grandchildren, Reese and Jocelyn; his son-in-law Terry; his children, Clint (Jennifer), Jasen, Murray (Kathy), Dean (Stephanie), Scott (Ashley) and Ron (Dianne); his grandchildren, Shannon (Peter), Christine and Matthew (Stephanie); his daughter Faye (Alex); his grandchildren, Patricia (Peter) and Patrick (Lisa); his sister Minnie; his sisters-in-law, Marie (John), Ermina, Alvina and Ann; his sister Martha; his brother-in-law Raymond; his parents-in-law, Louis and Julia; and his siblings-in-law, Wilfred, Roman, James, Clarence, Keith and Florianna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
