He was predeceased by: his parents, Arsenia Pereira and Lorenzo Pereira. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; and his children, Priscilla Anthony (Hadlen Hanson), Torrell (Immarria Brightley), Efren Jr. (Zhenja Mikhaylova), Edzel Milan (Alayzsa), Eruzen Mia (Gabby) and Lara.

Efren made many sacrifices while building a foundation to ensure his family would live a safer and better life.
