She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wagner and Esther Wagner; her siblings-in-law, Abram, Mathilda Friesen, Ed Janzen and Dick Serack; her nephew Lyle Janzen; and her niece Kylee Wagner.

She is survived by: her children, Bonnie, Cary and Brent; her husband Arthur Friesen; her great grandchildren, Bonnie (Bruce), Cody (Meagan), Crew and Brett Pongracz; and her grandchildren, Cary Friesen, Brent Friesen (Angela), Raquel (Jeff), Payten, Charli, Madden, Cooper, Carter Caffet and Tayler Friesen.
