Joan Hurst wrote a sympathy message

“It has been many years since we crossed paths with Elmer. We met him in Dauphin in 1966 when he worked at Traders Finance. We did meet up on a few occasions in the following years, but with moving and changing jobs, we gradually lost touch. We still have many fond memories of Elmer and are saddened to learn of his passing. Our sincere condolences to the the family at this very difficult time. Bob and Joan Hurst Kelowna BC”
