She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Wasyl Stefanuk; and her granddaughter Melissa. She is survived by: her son David (Joan); her grandchildren, Amanda and James (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Cierra, Alexis, Sadie and Ethan; and her brother-in-law Ernie Stefanuk (Janet). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, friends, and friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the Ukrainian Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral.
