He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Schneider and Mathilda Schneider; his children, Yvonne McCowan and Sidney Schneider; and his sister Theresa Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Leech; and his children, Mark (Deborah), Sherry Tetland (Hans Hansen), Murray (Cheryl), Doug (Sandra) and Heather Reynoldson (David). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
