She was predeceased by: her husband George Mitchell; her parents, Loren Lester and Leora Lester; her siblings, Leonard Lester (Elsie), Bayliss Lester, Loren Lester (Doreen) and Iris Miller; and her brother-in-law Gilbert Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Friske (Lorne), Ann Hendry (Ernest), Coral Mitchell (Darlene Case) and Leslee Harden (Kelly); her grandchildren, Kendall Friske (Peggy), Karl Friske (Karen), Robert Hendry (Pam), Krista Hendry (Susan Maybin), Kelvin Mag-Atas (Robyn), Renata Blair (Jason), David Case, Evan Olfert (Carrie) and Lindsay Olfert (Colleen); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Lysandra, Melissa, Tessa, Nicholas, Adam, Riley, Hunter, Kayden, Lee, Reid, Summer, William and Etta; her siblings, Gene Schmidt, Philip Lester (Shirley), Charles Lester (Sylvia), Marvin Lester (Mary) and Irvin Lester (Pat); and her sister-in-law Maxine Lester.
