He was predeceased by: his son Bobby; his great grandchild Joshua Volk; his parents, Dominic and Ethel; and his siblings, Richard (Maxine), Arlene Richter (Fred) and John (Josie).
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Bauml; his children, Valerie Paterson (Tom) of Saskatoon, David (Lynn) of Saskatoon, Patrick (Delmarie) of Saskatoon, Leanne (Jeff) of Regina and Darrin (Noreen) of Battleford; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Meagan, Benjamin, Rachel, Deagan, Chanice, Nicholette, Krestin, Lindsay, Rebecca, Anthony and Theresa; and his great grandchildren, Emma, William, Aiden, Sebastien, Simon, Abigail and Theodore. He is also survived by his many students, colleagues and friends.
