We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2024, at the age of 73, Eugene Peter Sawchyn (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Melville, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Sawchyn and Katie Sawchyn; his siblings, Fred (Norma), Helen Wassill (Elmer), John (Jean), Grace Bohay (Steve), Jeanie Sawchyn (Harry), Steve (Elizabeth) and Ken (Frances); his in-laws, Albin Sobkowich, Paul McLean, Don Kopperud and Jerome Kopperud; and his nephews, Gerald Wassill, Jeff Kopperud and Greg Kopperud.

He is survived by: his son Tim; his grandchild Brieanna; his daughter Julie Montgomery (Kevin); his siblings, Harry (Sheila), Sharon Sobkowich and Sylvia McLean; Keely Montgomery, Kassidy Cowan (Wayne), Beryl Moe (Cliff) of Cochrane, AB, Sharon Peters and Lucille Kopperud.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Foundation of Sask., The SPCA, or donor's choice would be appreciated.
