He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stakiw and Anne Stakiw (Elaine); and his siblings, Leo, Bill and Marie.
He is survived by: his sons, David Picton (Mariana), Shaun Stakiw and Steven Stakiw; his grandchildren, Sienna, Savannah and London; and his siblings, Gary Stakiw (Gail), Pat Siroishka (John), Yvonne and Gail Wheatley (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Catholic Parish (53012 Range Rd 224 #25, Strathcona County, AB T8E2K5).
