Evelyn Mary Burns Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Mary Burns (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Evelyn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilfred Boyd and Anna Boyd; her former husband George Shorland; her children, Ede, Irvin, Erva, Darwin and Valerie; and her husband Stan Burns.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Speers Funeral Chapel (2136 College Ave, Regina, SK S4P1C5). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1502 2nd Ave N, Saskatoon, SK S7K2G1).
