It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Catherine Vindeg (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in White Bear, Saskatchewan, who passed away on November 17, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Maalerud and Elizabeth Maalerud; her siblings, Jim, Irene, Kay, Bob and Margaret; her children, Lyle, Allan Vindeg (Linda), Roland Vindeg (Marlys) and Joanne Kuruliak (Randy); her daughter-in-law Yvette Vindeg; her grandchildren, Kevin, Kimberly, John, Stephanie, Nicole, Angela, Steven and Lee; and her former husband Marvel Vindeg.
The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at Stensrud Lodge, 2nd floor, West Wing, for their wonderful care of Mom and keeping her safe during pandemic conditions. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, no funeral is planned but a memorial/burial to take place in the spring of 2021.
