She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Thompson and Rachel Thompson; and her sisters, Aletha Stein, Mary Lou Braitenbach, Mona Boseke and Verna Boseke.

She is survived by: her husband Edgar (Ed); and her brother John Thompson (Sandra). She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
