He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Fay; and his parents, John and Lena. He is survived by: his children, Bob and Sheila Schreiner (Warren); his grandchildren, Cody Schreiner (Taylor Masney), Brandon Schreiner (Kendall) and Samantha Prokosch (Dillon); his great grandchildren, Levi, Liam Schreiner and Avery Prokosch; and his brother Kelly Kocay (Sandra, family: Korey, Kyle, Kurtis). He is also survived by many in-laws, relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
