It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Smith of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Louisa Smith; his daughter Donalee; his son-in-law Darrell Alberts; his son Darren Smith; and his siblings, Ruby Cowell (Nick), Florence Kidney (Mervin), Seymour Smith (Grace), James Smith (Patricia), Art Smith and Mary Belsher (Glen).

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Smith; his grandchildren, Bethany Alberts and Matthew Alberts (Madison); his great grandchild Ellis; his grandson Kenton Alberts; his daughter-in-law Brenda Smith (Daniel Paquette); his grandsons, Wesley Smith and Brendan Paquette; and his sister-in-law Margaret Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
