He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schneider and Helen Schneider; and his nephew Jay Schneider. He is survived by: his brother Doug (Heather); his grandchildren, Kassen and Holden of Richardson, Texas; his brother Denny (Judy); his grandchildren, Allyson, Jeremy of Saskatoon, Matt (Elisia) of Calgary and Dale; his children, Meagan, Breanna, Brett of Calgary and Kim Purdy of Canmore; and also, Brad (Karen) and Glen (Angela).

In Lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made to the Sherbrooke Community Centre.
