It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fredrick Wallace Kolbert (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kolbert and Eleanor Kolbert; his brother Kenneth Kolbert (Skip); and his friend Leon Oreniuk. He is survived by: his wife Gina Rodrigue; his daughter Kimberly Putland (Wade); his former wife Stella Kolbert; his grandchildren, Jessica Lewgood (Chris), William Putland (Katelyn), Lyla, Lane Lewgood and Oliver Putland; and his close friends, Barbara Banks, Denis Bonthoux, Bill Thompson, Rod, Yvonne Thome, David Parkinson and April Sora.

In lieu of flowers, kindly make a donation in memory of Fredrick Kolbert to the Vascular Surgery Department at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon.
