He was predeceased by: his parents, Melchior Miller and Katherine Gaertner; and his siblings, Emily, Katherine, Irene, Englebert and Beatrice.

He is survived by: his wife Antoinette; his daughter Colleen Miller; and his son-in-law Anthony Siferd. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews.
