He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip and Muriel; his siblings, Elsie Marchant, Roy and Edwin; his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Drabble and Marvin Nagel; and his father-in-law Joe Grimes.

He is survived by: his wife Carolynn; his son Rodney; his daughter-in-law Julia; his grandchildren, Matthew and Meghan; his son Rory; his brother Rex (Florence); his mother-in-law Aurelia Grimes; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Baker (Terry), Joanne Nagel, Tamara Buckwold (Bruce) and Al Marchant.
