She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Karoly; her son Michael; her grandson Michael Pelechaty; her son-in-law Wesley Jackson; her parents, Elsie Symak and Mike Symak; her siblings, Pauline Symak, Joseph Symak, Jessie (Dmytro Boyko) and Mary (Joseph Boyko); and her parents-in-law, John, Elizabeth Karoly, Irene, Percy Kindrachuk, Rudolph and Oscar Karoly.

She is survived by: her friend Genevieve Karoly; her children, Calvin Sawchuk, Sherri-Lynn Wilson (Tim Burdzy), Fran Jackson (Morris Nickolayou), Debra Karoly and Shirley Venne (Prince Albert); her grandchildren, Sara Venne, Mitchell Venne and Gail Karoly (Harvey Dunne); her great grandchildren, Preston Karoly and Carolin Pelechaty (Warman); her brother John Symak (Josie); her sister-in-law Doris Karoly; and also, Samuel, Benjamin and Baylee Pelechaty. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
