The family announces the passing of George Allan Whitter (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) on June 28, 2026. George, born on October 5, 1934, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his mother Alice (Cowles); his wife Elsie; his father George Henry Whitter; his siblings-in-law, Carol Priestley (Hawrysh) and Jim Priestley of Prince Albert; and his cousins, Randy Whitter and Carmelle Whitter.
He is survived by: his children, Arthur and Natalie Lobo (John) of Onoway, Alberta; and his granddaughter Caitlin Mulholland (Brendan) of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous cousins as well as friends.
While the pandemic brought that to a screeching halt, he was nonetheless thrilled to see the pyramids on one of those cruises.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any of the following: Canadian Cancer Society, Prince Albert Historical Society, the Waskesiu Foundation to be used for the benefit of the Waskesiu Museum.
