He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Heskett; his parents, Andrew Heskett and Rose Heskett; his sister Dorothy; his brother-in-law Larry Young; his parents-in-law, Margret and William Elliot; and his pets, Lady and Dino.

He is survived by: his children, David and Shantal (family: Mackenzie, Andrew, Christopher) of Fort McMurray; his family, Benjamin, Olivia and Adrienne (family: Darien, Jordyn) of Saskatoon; his brother Donald (Cecilia Heskett) of Chase, BC; and also Lee Starks.
