He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Hillier (Sadie) and Marjorie Reid (Thomas); his nephew Henry Hillier; his siblings, Robbie Hillier (Heather), Matthew Hillier and Kimberly Hillier (JS); his friends, McKenzie Cooper and Sherry Hastings; Jacob and Madison.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Diabetes Canada.
