He was predeceased by: his parents, August and Pansy (Caplette); his son Murray; and his sisters, Mona, Jeanette and Joyce.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Possberg; his daughters, Christine Meier (Ken) and Yvonne Hachkewich (Derek); his grandchildren, Thomas, Mitchell (Rhiannon), Haylee and Cole; and his great grandchild Arwyn.
