She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustine Wessan and Pauline Wessan; and her sister Annette Gogal. She is survived by: her son Carl (Estelle Hjertaas); her husband Alex; her grandson Keman of Prince Albert, SK; her son James (Carol); her grandsons, Kieran, Liam and Aidan of Victoria, BC.; her brother Eugene Wessan (Claire); and her siblings-in-law, Harold Gogal, John Nahachewsky (Edith) and Veronica Bailey (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society or Parkinson Society of Canada are gratefully welcomed.
