She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ewert and Louise Ewert (Friesen); her brother John; and her stepfather Alvin Friesen. She is survived by: her husband Garry Koop; her children, Tricia German (Rob), Andrea Rocheleau (Tyler), Brian Koop and Shelly Koop (Joel Schock); and her grandchildren, Conner (Kennedy), Cole, Callie German, Paige, Hailey Rocheleau (Rylin), Addie, Dane and Ellis Koop. She is also survived by family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nutana Park Mennonite Church (1701 Ruth St E, Saskatoon, SK S7J0L7).
