He was predeceased by: his wife Rose-Marie; his son Gord; his parents, Helen Albert and Thomas Albert; and his siblings, Bill, Lawrence, Edward and Gladys.

He is survived by: his children, Tami (Lyle), Greg (Vicki), Jeff (Dawn) and Sidney (Tricia); his siblings, Leonard (Mary) and Rita (Henry); and his daughter-in-law Cecilia-Anne.
