He was predeceased by: his daughter Naomi Helen; his father-in-law Laurent Duret; his grandparents, John, Clara Inglis, Bernhard and Mary Fast; his great-aunt Helen Inglis; and his uncles, David Jeffares and Raymond Fast.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Hayden, Quintan (Jaira) and Meeka (Brett); his parents, Joan Fast and Lindsay Fast; his sister Sharon (Harish); his nieces and nephews, Sanjay (Elizabeth) and Kamla; his great-niece Ada; his brother Shaun (Chantel); his nieces, Monique (Arden) and Lucie; his mother-in-law Diane Duret; his brother-in-law Don (Terri); his nieces, Beth and Lena; his brother-in-law Marc (Eriko); his nieces and nephews, Taichi and Suzu; his brother-in-law Mario (Kim); and his nieces and nephews, Amélie and Alex. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
