He was predeceased by: his wife Margarete Demke (Bruekmann); his daughter Susan Beliveau; his parents, Lydia and Adolph; and his siblings, Emma, Joseph, Gustaf and Edward.

He is survived by: his daughter Doris Paul (George); his grandchildren, Anthony (Lauren) and Alexis (Josh); his great grandchildren, Luna and Sage; and his granddaughters, Lauren and Lisa Beliveau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
